As we begin a new season at ASCM, our President shares a timely reminder of what truly matters: a life deeply rooted in Christ. Read his message as we journey together under this year’s theme, “Go Deeper.”
Presidential Message:
Dear ASCM Family,
Every meaningful journey begins with a decision. This year, our decision is simple, yet life-changing:
Go Deeper.
The world celebrates speed, visibility, and success. God values depth.
Anyone can make an impression, but only those who are deeply rooted leave a lasting legacy.
Strong ministries, healthy churches, and transformational leaders are not built on talent alone. They are built on a deep relationship with Jesus Christ.
Last year, our theme, New Wave, challenged us to step into new opportunities with courage and faith. God faithfully opened new doors, expanded our partnerships, strengthened our academic
foundation, and reminded us that He is always doing something new.
Now comes the greater challenge. It is one thing to begin well. It is another to grow well.
At Asian Seminary of Christian Ministries, we believe that leadership is never about position-it is about influence. And influence always flows from character. Character is formed not in moments of
success, but in the quiet disciplines of prayer, study, obedience, humility, and daily surrender to
Christ. That is what GO DEEPER means.
Go deeper in your relationship with God before pursuing greater opportunities. Go deeper into Scripture before speaking to the world. Go deeper in servant leadership before seeking recognition.
Go deeper in your love for people before attempting to lead them. When our roots grow deeper, our influence reaches farther.
At ASCM, we are committed to preparing leaders who are academically excellent, spiritually mature, globally minded, and passionately committed to the Kingdom of God. Our mission is not simply to graduate students. Our mission is to develop leaders who will transform churches, communities, and nations through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The future of the Church will not be shaped by leaders who know the most. It will be shaped by leaders who know Christ the deepest.
As we begin this new academic year, I invite you to embrace every class, every chapel service, every ministry opportunity, every challenge, and every relationship as an invitation to grow deeper.

● Deeper dependence upon the Holy Spirit.
My prayer is that years from now, when you look back on this season, you will not remember it simply as another academic year. You will remember it as the year your roots grew deeper, your
calling became clearer, and your life became more fully available for God’s purposes.
Together, let us build lives that endure, ministries that multiply, and a legacy that points every generation to Jesus Christ.
